 CVA summer 98 with the popularity of the two cva '71 web sites, friends reached out to each others, even in their vacations or business trips. many long lost friends suddenly showed up at the door steps, through email or phone. old photographs are passed around, treasured like love letters. the feeling was so strong that one guy was overwhelmed, could not sleep overnight. We're at an age where friendships are more important than ever, reaching out to old friends bringing back memories of the youthful years where we are all longing to. age has caught up with us, gray hair, bald head, big ole belly, eye glasses, now are just facts, undeniable. few years from now, our children will get married, starting a new generation.

huynh phuoc tan visited old friends at chicago when he has heard of nguyen manh tuan lives in Chicago. tuan is a professor at illinois university medical school. still shy like a schoolboy, tuan was just married 2 years ago. hung simply had a bad hair day, not because of his wife has cut his hair. aug 98

tu khac quoc stopped by quebec montreal to visit the old friend nguyen trong hanh summer 98. quoc now lives in Minesota, is busy with 2 jobs.
last but without any luck t t Cuong's vacation on pensacola was just like a chevy Chase's vacation rerun. on the morning of his trip, his back was snapped when he stood up too fast. unable to stand, his wife put a big pillow on the car seat for him to drive 10hr trip to Pensacola. when he settled down in the condo, his eyes, face was swollen because of the seafood he had ate the previous day. when he finally jumped in the water, 2 small fish logged up to his ears, he could not remove them out for several hours.
